Eurydice collaborates with the CYSAT event
CYSAT: The flagship cybersecurity event
On April 24 and 25, 2024, Station F, located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, hosted an exceptionally important event in the field of space cybersecurity. CYSAT, a must-attend event for experts in this sector, brought together enthusiasts and professionals for two days of conferences and specialized booths. At the heart of this major event, the Eurydice team distinguished itself as a technical partner, offering an immersive and innovative audiovisual experience. With its expertise in advanced audiovisual solutions, Eurydice brilliantly met the challenge by deploying a wide range of cutting-edge technological devices, notably the large LED wall that created a captivating and immersive atmosphere for CYSAT participants.
As with the previous edition, the CYSAT event focused on data protection in space, a crucial issue in a world increasingly confronted with cybersecurity challenges. CYSEC, a pioneering Franco-Swiss company in this field, was at the heart of organizing this event. CYSAT aims to bring together space and cybersecurity experts to build a robust European ecosystem capable of protecting satellites and the data transmitted and collected in space.
This third edition of CYSAT was marked by several highlights, including an exclusive interview with Colonel Oleksandr Potii, Vice President of the Ukrainian government's Special Communications and Information Service. One year after the Ka-Sat attack, this event provided crucial lessons for the future of cyberwarfare and space cybersecurity. Conferences and keynote speeches by renowned experts were also held, highlighting technological and geostrategic advancements in the space sector.
With this focus on European collaboration, Mathieu Bailly, VP Space at CYSEC and Director of CYSAT, emphasized the importance of creating a sovereign European ecosystem capable of addressing the technological and economic challenges of the space industry. CYSEC, with its ARCA SATCOM and ARCA SATLINK products launched in 2023, plays a crucial role in this quest to protect satellites and space data.
Eurydice was honored to collaborate with CYSAT, highlighting that this event transcends its immediate scope: it is a crucial platform for fostering innovation, collaboration, and security in the field of space cybersecurity in Europe and beyond.
